Gerald Guimard vs Blake Tonner

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Caroline Ouellette, Montreal,  taking place on 11/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Quebec Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gerald Guimard (6 - 9(4)) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Blake Tonner(15(5) - 4) from Quebec City, Canada.  Both Guimard and Tonner weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Brame, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Henry, Varocher Painchaud and Gerard Segalen.  

Round 1: 

Tonner hits home with a stinging cross.  
Guimard is looking to keep his distance.  Tonner feints a jab, tricking Guimard into throwing a right hook counter.  Tonner is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Tonner uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Guimard behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tonner.
