Farhan Namli vs Kashif Darid

Boxing Daily Report from the Sembene Promotions promoted show at Sana'a Zacka, Sana'a,  taking place on 31/07/2032:

Clearly Sembene Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Yemen-Sana'a Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Namli (8 - 7 - 3) who hails from Sana'a, Yemen and Kashif Darid(2 - 1 - 2) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Both Namli and Darid weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Azzi, and the three ringside judges are Saad Nabi, Abdul Khalaf and Aftab Azer.  

Round 1: 

Darid connects with a left hook.  
Darid pivots to the right of his opponent.  Namli throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Darid's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Namli tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.

Darid retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Namli is whaling away with hooks, but Darid keeps his defence tight.  
Namli is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but Darid blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Darid dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Namli steps away from his opponent.  Namli feints a jab, but Darid ignores the feint and lands with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Namli's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Darid's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
