Oscar Tod vs Leeroy Polk

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Palace Banquet Centre, Edmonton,  taking place on 04/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Tod (4 - 27 - 3) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Leeroy Polk(3 - 8 - 1) from Edmonton, Canada.  Tod weighed in at 229 pounds and 11 ounces, while Polk weighed in at 238 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Crear, and the three ringside judges are Charles Wardrop, Clint Craig and Robert Methvin.
