Asif Alam vs Waleed Mahdi

Boxing Daily Report from the Antwi Promotions promoted show at Dubai Salame, Dubai,  taking place on 26/07/2032:

Clearly Antwi Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the UAE-Dubai Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asif Alam (13(3) - 4 - 2) who hails from Dubai, UAE and Waleed Mahdi(3 - 3(1) - 1) from Dubai, UAE.  Both Alam and Mahdi weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tariq Kamara, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Maalouf, Rehan Jabbour and Asif Hamra.  

Round 1: 

Alam advances into close range and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Alam pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a stinging right hook.
