Cruz Villafana vs Ovidio Escarcega

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Coliseo Mauro Mina 'La Bombonera', Lima,  taking place on 24/08/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru-Lima Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Villafana (2 - 13 - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Ovidio Escarcega(10 - 8 - 3) from Lima, Peru.  Both Villafana and Escarcega weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Gomez, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Florentino, Iago Martir and Diego Bras.
