Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Logan Campbell Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 31/08/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Onion (21(8) - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ashley Affleck(7 - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Onion and Affleck weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brin Stackpole, and the three ringside judges are Hamahona Kurawhatia, Joey Bridgeforth and Waraki Kawau.  

Round 1: 

Onion closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Affleck drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Onion lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Onion gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Onion is looking to close the distance.  Affleck throws a right hook, but Onion ties up his opponent.  Affleck leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Onion lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Onion walks Affleck down, trapping him on the ropes.  Onion lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Onion feints a jab, but Affleck is not fooled and lands with a right hook.

As they grapple, Onion pushes his forearm into Affleck's face.  The ref breaks Onion's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Affleck tries to land a right hook, but Onion sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Onion lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Affleck quickly recovers. 
Onion lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.

Affleck attempts to land a right hook, but Onion sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Onion lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Onion connects with a mean left hook.  AFFLECK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Affleck's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Affleck's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Onion attempts to land a cross, but Affleck slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Onion steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Onion manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Onion lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND AFFLECK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Affleck almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Onion gets on the inside and DETONATES a WICKED left hook on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE AFFLECK WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Onion could be enough to force the stoppage!  Onion SLAMS a WICKED left hook into his opponents face.  AFFLECK HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Onion!
