Quin Rota vs Cortez Navar

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Villa Deportiva Nacional, Lima,  taking place on 25/09/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quin Rota (8(6) - 0 - 1) who hails from Chiclayo, Peru and Cortez Navar(17 - 8(2) - 4) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Rota and Navar weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emilio Triano, and the three ringside judges are Felippe Pedroso, Saturnin Villena and Xaver Armando.  

Round 1: 

Navar attempts to land a jab, but Rota sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Rota is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Rota clinches his opponent.  Rota is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rota to stop fouling.  
Rota lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Rota lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Rota manouvers Navar onto the ropes.  Rota lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rota lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rota lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Navar dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Rota lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rota pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging cross.  
Rota closes the distance and lands a stinging right hook.  Rota clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rota pushes his forearm into Navar's face.  The ref breaks Rota's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rota connects with a left hook.  Rota clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rota pushes his forearm into Navar's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rota about fouling.  
Rota is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Rota holds on to his opponent.  Rota leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Rota's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rota is on target with a right hook.  
Rota advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Rota lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Navar now seems to have got his legs back.  
Rota walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rota lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rota closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rota hits home with a left hook.  Rota throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rota forces Navar to retreat into the corner.  Rota lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rota lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Rota lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Rota ties up his opponent.  Rota is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Rota's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rota lands a left hook.  
Rota closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Rota hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Rota connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Navar's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Navar's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Navar's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Rota gets on the inside and lands a spiteful left hook.  NAVAR IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Rota walks Navar into a corner.  Rota lands a right hook to the head followed by two left uppercut's to the body.  
Rota digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Rota connects with a CRUSHING cross.  NAVAR IS HURT!  Navar recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rota gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Rota digs in a left hook to Navar's body.  
Rota lands a sharp cross.  
Rota lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS NAVAR TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rota!
