Jose Ronquillo vs Fidel Delgado

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Cubierta de Leganés, Madrid,  taking place on 02/10/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Spain Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Ronquillo (25(11) - 1) who hails from Murcia, Spain and Fidel Delgado(22 - 10(5)) from Barcelona, Spain.  Both Ronquillo and Delgado weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Canas, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Rodriquez, Vegas Hidalgo and Vicente Puerto.  

Round 1: 

Ronquillo lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ronquillo steps inside.  Ronquillo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Ronquillo advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to Delgado's ribs.  
Ronquillo gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Ronquillo drives a right uppercut into Delgado's ribcage.  
Ronquillo lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Delgado connects with a cross.  
Delgado tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but Ronquillo slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Ronquillo throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Delgado is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Ronquillo steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ronquillo lands a jab.  
Ronquillo advances into close range and lands a firm left hook.  
Ronquillo is looking to close the distance.  Delgado pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ronquillo is on target with a left uppercut to Delgado's body.  
Ronquillo forces Delgado to back into the blue corner.  Ronquillo lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Ronquillo attempts to land a right hook, but Delgado blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ronquillo is on target with a solid right uppercut to Delgado's ribcage.  
Ronquillo digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Ronquillo is on target with a right hook.  
Ronquillo steps inside and is on target with a right hook.

Ronquillo steps inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Ronquillo is looking to close the distance.  Delgado attempts to land a left hook, but Ronquillo slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Delgado voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Ronquillo is whaling away with hooks, but Delgado keeps his defence tight.  Ronquillo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Ronquillo closes the distance and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ronquillo tries to land a right uppercut, but Delgado blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ronquillo senses Delgado is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Ronquillo lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND DELGADO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  
Ronquillo advances into close range.  Ronquillo lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body, AND DELGADO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Delgado has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Ronquillo pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Ronquillo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DELGADO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Ronquillo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ronquillo advances into close range and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ronquillo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ronquillo whips in a DEVASTATING left hook to his opponents liver.  DELGADO IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Ronquillo!
