Ricky Bednarczyk vs Phil Whitton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Illinois promoted show at Joliet James, Joliet,  taking place on 01/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Bednarczyk (17 - 12(1) - 7) who hails from Chicago, USA and Phil Whitton(8 - 8(1) - 3) from Chicago, USA.  Both Bednarczyk and Whitton weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Barry Anderson, and the three ringside judges are Mark Vincent, Harry Comb and Richie Janos.  

Round 1: 

Bednarczyk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.
