Sammy MacConnell vs John Gibbs

Boxing Daily Report from the Zulu Promotions promoted show at Vincent McCorquodale Gym, Virginia Beach,  taking place on 29/08/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Virginia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sammy MacConnell (8(2) - 3 - 2) who hails from Virginia Beach, USA and John Gibbs(8 - 2) from Virginia Beach, USA.  Both MacConnell and Gibbs weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cole Scott, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Davis, Dan Whalen and Hugh McGuinness.  

Round 1: 

Gibbs walks MacConnell onto the ropes.  Gibbs hits home with a stinging cross.
