Brin Emslie vs Jay Pew

Boxing Daily Report from the Dana White promoted show at Vancouver Stackpoole, Vancouver,  taking place on 13/09/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-British Columbia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Emslie (8 - 8 - 4) who hails from Vancouver, Canada and Jay Pew(7 - 12(1) - 4) from Surrey, Canada.  Emslie weighed in at 111 pounds And 14 ounces, while Pew weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Trott, and the three ringside judges are Paul Low, Blake Chisholm and Spencer Clary.  

Round 1: 

Pew steps inside and walks his opponent into the red corner.  Emslie lands a left hook.  Emslie tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Emslie is on target with a left uppercut.  
Pew pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pew tries to land a right uppercut, but Emslie slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Emslie switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.

Pew closes the distance.  Emslie pivots to the side of his opponent.  Emslie throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Emslie holds on to his opponent.  Emslie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Emslie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Pew throws a left hook, but Emslie clinches his opponent.  Pew is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pew to stop fouling.  
Pew hits home with a left hook.  
Emslie lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Emslie is on target with a right hook.  
Pew closes the distance.  Emslie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Emslie tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Emslie dabs at his face checking for damage.  Emslie has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the left eye.  
Pew gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  Emslie ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Emslie is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 9, lets listen in on the corners...Pew's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
