Michael Hughes vs Matthew Obie

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Civic Auditorium, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 10/09/2032:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Michael Hughes (0 - 0) who hails from Detroit, USA and Matthew Obie(2 - 1 - 1) from New Orleans, USA.  Both Hughes and Obie weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Devin, and the three ringside judges are Phil Boydston, Max Gura and Leon Russell.  

Round 1: 

Hughes is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Hughes lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hughes lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Hughes clinches his opponent.  Hughes is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Obie pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hughes throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Obie is looking to keep his distance.  Hughes is on target with a cross.  
Hughes digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hughes is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hughes hits home with a spiteful jab.

Hughes closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hughes pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Hughes lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Hughes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
