Zach Poku vs Mark Assiful

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Habe, Kumasi,  taking place on 18/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zach Poku (22(6) - 8(4)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Mark Assiful(13 - 16(3) - 6) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Poku and Assiful weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mason Attoh, and the three ringside judges are Scott Acquah, Nabulung Ayew and Nwa Agbee.  

Round 1: 

Poku advances into close range and hits home with a sharp left hook.  Poku ties up his opponent.  Poku leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Poku's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Poku walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Poku drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Poku is on target with a jab.  
Poku lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Poku lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Assiful steps to the outside.  Poku connects with a cross.  
Poku gets on the inside and forces Assiful to retreat into a corner.  Poku lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Poku ties up his opponent.  Poku is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Poku gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Poku feints a jab, tricking Assiful into countering with a cross.  Poku springs the trap, countering with  a right hook to Assiful's body.  
Poku is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Poku walks Assiful into a corner.  Poku connects with a right hook.  
Poku lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Poku pivots to the right of his opponent.  Poku lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Poku clinches his opponent.  Poku pushes his forearm into Assiful's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Poku lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Poku steps inside and is on target with a sharp right hook to Assiful's body.  
Poku connects with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE ASSIFUL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Assiful quickly recovers. 
Assiful throws a right uppercut, but Poku holds on to his opponent.  Poku leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Assiful's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Assiful's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Poku connects with a stinging left hook.  
Poku steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Poku holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Poku pushes his forearm into Assiful's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Poku.  
Poku lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Poku connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Poku lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Poku is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  Poku clinches his opponent.  Poku leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Assiful tries to keep the action at long range.  Poku lands a stiff jab.  
Poku closes the distance and drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Poku walks Assiful onto the ropes.  Poku sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Poku lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Poku holds on to his opponent.  Poku is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Poku hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Assiful recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Poku is on target with a left hook.  
Poku gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Poku lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Poku wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Assiful dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Poku closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Poku connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Poku lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Poku lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.

Poku steps inside.  Assiful attempts to land a right hook, but Poku blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Assiful steps to the outside.  Poku feints a jab, fooling Assiful into launching a cross counter.  Poku is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Assiful lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Poku is on target with a nasty left hook.  ASSIFUL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.

Poku closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Poku ties up his opponent.  Poku tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Assiful behind the head.
