Ahmed Naim vs Rashid Maroun

Boxing Daily Report from the Kasanbata Promotions promoted show at Kasanbata Gym, Kaduna,  taking place on 19/09/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ahmed Naim (13 - 12 - 6) who hails from Zaria, Nigeria and Rashid Maroun(12 - 8 - 6) from Zaria, Nigeria.  Both Naim and Maroun weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Sasooli, and the three ringside judges are Ifeanyi Chukwudi, Saad Baksh and Elderson Obasanjo.  

Round 1: 

Maroun steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Maroun advances into close range.  Naim quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.
