Haaris Islam vs Obaid Akbar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Federal Territory promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Dow, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 22/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Islam (12 - 15(2) - 2) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Obaid Akbar(22(10) - 3) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Both Islam and Akbar weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amjad Ebrahimi, and the three ringside judges are Saad Zogby, Waqar Sabir and Jawad Baten.  

Round 1: 

Akbar pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  As Islam tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Akbar.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Akbar gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Akbar digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Akbar digs in a stinging left hook to Islam's ribs.  
Islam tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Islam lands a cross, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.

Akbar gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  ISLAM WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!
