Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-North Holland promoted show at Amsterdam Patin, Amsterdam,  taking place on 20/09/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Netherlands-North Holland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bauwe Piessens (12 - 15 - 4) who hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands and Huib Waem(5 - 6) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both Piessens and Waem weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Parydaen, and the three ringside judges are Boele Van Gassele, Mahieu Van Cotenghys and Timo Schottyn.

Piessens hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Piessens about fouling.  
Waem cuts off the ring, trapping Piessens in the red corner.  Waem is on target with a right hook.  
Waem advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Waem steps inside.  Waem sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Waem gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Waem holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Piessens pushes his forearm into Waem's face.  The ref breaks Waem's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Waem closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Waem gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Piessens's body.  
Waem throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Waem clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Waem pushes his forearm into Piessens's face.  The referee warns Waem and breaks the clinch.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Piessens's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Piessens's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
