Eiji Amari vs Hisoka Taketa

Boxing Daily Report from the Nottinggham Promotions promoted show at Sendai Tajima, Sendai,  taking place on 23/09/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Miyagi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Amari (15 - 7 - 3) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Hisoka Taketa(14 - 7 - 3) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Amari and Taketa weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Sakai, and the three ringside judges are Mitsuru Asano, Satoshi Matsui and Ryuu Yamaguchi.  

Round 1: 

Taketa pivots to the side of his opponent.  Taketa tries to land a jab, but Amari dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Taketa walks his opponent into the corner.  Amari is on target with a right uppercut.  Taketa wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Amari.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Taketa feints a cross, but Amari ignores the feint and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Taketa advances into close range and forces Amari to retreat into the corner.  Taketa throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
