Blake Stephen vs Patrick Don

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at Bayou Event Center, Houston,  taking place on 11/10/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Blake Stephen (2 - 1) who hails from Miramar, USA and Patrick Don(0 - 1 - 1) from Baltimore, USA.  Stephen weighed in at 230 pounds and 14 ounces, while Don weighed in at 236 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Smyth, and the three ringside judges are Paul Speed, Arthur Kinna and Colin Irish.  

Round 1: 

Don sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Stephen closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stephen finds the target with a jab.  
Stephen hits home with a left uppercut.  
Don lands a right uppercut.  
Stephen lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Stephen steps inside.  Don throws a right hook, but Stephen clinches his opponent.  Stephen pushes his forearm into Don's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Stephen to stop fouling.  
Don pivots to the side of his opponent.  Stephen attempts to land a jab, but Don slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Stephen is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Stephen clinches his opponent.  Stephen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Don attempts to land a left hook, but Stephen slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Stephen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stephen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Stephen is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stephen steps inside and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Stephen lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

As Stephen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Don dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Don.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
