Nicandro Lagda vs Jose Retana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Cebu promoted show at Ian Balubal Gym, Cebu City,  taking place on 26/09/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Lagda (13 - 21(1) - 3) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Jose Retana(6(2) - 2) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Lagda weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Retana weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Makalintal, and the three ringside judges are Jair Puyot, Ricky Magana and Felix Tanopo.  

Round 1: 

Retana advances into close range.  Retana sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
