Gig Villasana vs Ponce Truxillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Maphatsoe Promotions promoted show at La Paz Alatorre, La Paz,  taking place on 01/10/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Bolivia-La Paz Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Villasana (9(5) - 1) who hails from La Paz, Bolivia and Ponce Truxillo(11 - 13(1) - 8) from El Alto, Bolivia.  Villasana weighed in at 114 pounds And 3 ounces, while Truxillo weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xeres Monserrate, and the three ringside judges are Xaver Curiel, Noe Malagon and Santiago Reyes.  

Round 1: 

Villasana advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Truxillo throws a right uppercut, but Villasana ties up his opponent.  Villasana is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Villasana about fouling.  
Villasana advances into close range and walks Truxillo down, trapping him in a corner.  Villasana sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Truxillo throws a left hook, but Villasana holds on to his opponent.  Villasana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Villasana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Truxillo throws a right uppercut, but Villasana holds on to his opponent.  Villasana uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Truxillo's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Villasana to stop fouling.  
Villasana steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Villasana clinches his opponent.  Villasana leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Villasana lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Villasana is on target with a right uppercut to Truxillo's ribs.  
Villasana lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Villasana is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Villasana clinches his opponent.  Villasana leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Villasana throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Villasana walks his opponent into the corner.  Villasana digs in a forceful left uppercut to Truxillo's body.  TRUXILLO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Truxillo almost instantly recovers. 
Villasana throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Villasana holds on to his opponent.  Villasana is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Villasana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Villasana lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Villasana lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Villasana closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Villasana walks Truxillo down, trapping him in the corner.  Villasana lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Truxillo quickly recovers. 
Villasana lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Villasana clinches his opponent.  Villasana leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Villasana lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Villasana lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Villasana gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Villasana lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND TRUXILLO IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  
Villasana thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Truxillo away.  Villasana lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND TRUXILLO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Villasana closes the distance.  Villasana lands a right hook to the body, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Villasana!
