Alen Muirhead vs Rich Watterson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at USA-Oregon Gym, Portland,  taking place on 02/10/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Muirhead (14(2) - 3) who hails from Portland, USA and Rich Watterson(13 - 12 - 2) from Portland, USA.  Both Muirhead and Watterson weighed in at 117 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brett Moss, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Shanklin, Floyd Esson and Gregor Riach.  

Round 1: 

Muirhead steps inside and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Muirhead lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Muirhead steps inside.  Muirhead quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Muirhead steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Muirhead tries to land a left hook, but Watterson blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Muirhead gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Watterson's body.  Muirhead clinches his opponent.  Muirhead leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Muirhead lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Watterson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Muirhead drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Muirhead is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Muirhead lands with a sharp jab.

Muirhead advances into close range and forces Watterson to back into the corner.  As Muirhead tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Watterson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Muirhead lands a right hook.  Muirhead holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Muirhead pushes his forearm into Watterson's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Muirhead about fouling.  
Muirhead lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Muirhead ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Watterson pushes his forearm into Muirhead's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Watterson to stop fouling.
