Harper Mehl vs Fabio Tripodi

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at National Stadium, Dublin,  taking place on 10/10/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harper Mehl (12(9) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Fabio Tripodi(18 - 12(1) - 2) from Milan, Italy.  Both Mehl and Tripodi weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Donnell, and the three ringside judges are Liam Healey, Charlie Brisbane and Lorcan Coleman.  

Round 1: 

Mehl steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Tripodi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tripodi tries to land a left hook, but Mehl slips the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Mehl digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mehl lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tripodi throws a right hook, but Mehl clinches his opponent.  Mehl is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Mehl's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mehl drives a left uppercut into Tripodi's liver.  
Mehl lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mehl lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
Mehl lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Mehl pushes his forearm into Tripodi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mehl.  
Mehl is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mehl lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mehl has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Tripodi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Mehl is on target with a solid cross.  
Mehl gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Tripodi's body.  
Mehl lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Tripodi tries to land a cross, but Mehl sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mehl lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Mehl holds on to his opponent.  Mehl leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Mehl's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tripodi's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Tripodi's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mehl throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Mehl holds on to his opponent.  Mehl leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mehl digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Mehl lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Mehl leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Mehl drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  TRIPODI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Tripodi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mehl walks Tripodi down, trapping him in the red corner.  Mehl digs in a left uppercut to Tripodi's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tripodi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Tripodi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mehl pivots to the left of his opponent.  Tripodi throws a right uppercut, but Mehl holds on to his opponent.  Mehl is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mehl manouvers Tripodi into the red corner.  Mehl lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Mehl ties up his opponent.  Mehl tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tripodi's kidney. The referee warns Mehl and breaks the clinch.  
Mehl sidesteps to the left of his opponent and crashes a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES TRIPODI!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Mehl pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.
