Edmundo Candella vs Nemesio Olmo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Torreon Espinal, Torreon,  taking place on 23/10/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Coahuila Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edmundo Candella (22(6) - 3) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Nemesio Olmo(13 - 13(3) - 2) from Saltillo, Mexico.  Candella weighed in at 135 pounds, while Olmo weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ovidio Cosio, and the three ringside judges are Iago Patron, Rio Milan and Xaverius Montera.  

Round 1: 

Candella closes the distance.  Candella sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Olmo throws a right uppercut, but Candella clinches his opponent.  Candella pushes his forearm into Olmo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Candella to stop fouling.  
Candella crashes a mean right hook to his opponents body.  OLMO IS HURT!  Candella clinches his opponent.  Candella is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Candella manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Candella is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Candella lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS OLMO!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  It looks like Olmo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Candella throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Candella ties up his opponent.  Candella leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Candella lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING OLMO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Some sustained pressure from Candella could be enough to finish Olmo!  Candella crashes a DEVASTATING right hook to his opponents ribs.  OLMO IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE OLMO THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Candella!
