Salim Ngengi vs Tamarius Maiyani

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Makonnen, Mombasa,  taking place on 24/10/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Mombasa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Salim Ngengi (21 - 1) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Tamarius Maiyani(16 - 9(1) - 5) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Ngengi weighed in at 135 pounds, while Maiyani weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bwakali, and the three ringside judges are Jay Matiku, James Baldacchino and Paul Kithuka.
