Sam Pritchard vs Mark Ivers

Boxing Daily Report from the Golden Slugger Promotions promoted show at Southampton Wilgus, Southampton,  taking place on 10/11/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Southern England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Pritchard (31(12) - 4(1)) who hails from London, UK and Mark Ivers(12 - 16(2) - 3) from Swindon, UK.  Both Pritchard and Ivers weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Barbas, and the three ringside judges are Mark Cossutta, Barry Coleman and Richard Duffy.  

Round 1: 

Ivers advances into close range.  Pritchard is on target with a left hook to Ivers's body.  
Pritchard tries to keep the action at long range.  Pritchard feints a right hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Pritchard tries to step out of his opponents range.  Pritchard feints a left, and then is on target with a cross.  
Ivers closes the distance and walks Pritchard onto the ropes.  Pritchard lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Pritchard ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Pritchard pushes his forearm into Ivers's face.  The referee warns Pritchard and breaks the clinch.  
Ivers attempts to land a cross, but Pritchard sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Pritchard is looking to keep his distance and finds the target with a jab.  
Ivers steps inside.  Pritchard throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ivers walks Pritchard onto the ropes.  Pritchard digs in a sharp left hook to Ivers's liver.  Pritchard holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Pritchard pushes his forearm into Ivers's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pritchard to stop fouling.  
Pritchard lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Pritchard lands a left hook.  Pritchard holds on to his opponent.  Pritchard leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ivers closes the distance.  Pritchard pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Pritchard steps to the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ivers attempts to land a left hook, but Pritchard slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ivers advances into close range and walks Pritchard down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pritchard lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Pritchard holds on to his opponent.  Pritchard leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Ivers is clearly losing his cool here!    He throws a hook, and catches Pritchard low!  The ref halts the action and sends Pritchard to the neutral corner.    He tells Ivers to stop fouling or face a points deduction.

Pritchard lands a potent cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE IVERS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Pritchard goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Ivers's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  Ivers quickly recovers. 
Pritchard pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND DROPS IVERS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Ivers cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Pritchard!
