Kudret Selchuk vs Umut Elmaci

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonga Promotions promoted show at Gaziantep Can, Gaziantep,  taking place on 16/11/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kudret Selchuk (21(4) - 4(2)) who hails from Gaziantep, Turkey and Umut Elmaci(24 - 10(1) - 3) from Izmir, Turkey.  Selchuk weighed in at 146 pounds And 7 ounces, while Elmaci weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iskander Tugba, and the three ringside judges are Omer Kahraman, Iskander Tugba and Ozgur Bakkal.  

Round 1: 

Selchuk is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Selchuk lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Selchuk snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Selchuk lands a left uppercut.  Selchuk tries to land a left hook, but Elmaci blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Selchuk advances into close range and hits home with a solid right hook.

Elmaci pivots to the side of his opponent.  Selchuk hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Selchuk lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Selchuk connects with a left hook.  Selchuk throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Selchuk wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Elmaci dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Selchuk closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Elmaci steps inside.  Selchuk is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Selchuk's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Elmaci's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Elmaci's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Elmaci pivots to the right of his opponent.  Selchuk lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Elmaci forces Selchuk to retreat onto the ropes.  Elmaci pivots to the left of his opponent.  Selchuk lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Selchuk lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Elmaci voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Selchuk accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Elmaci.  Selchuk lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
