Maximilian Asp vs Aki Kankkunnen

Boxing Daily Report from the Wekinky Promotions promoted show at Helsinki Olympiastadio, Helsinki,  taking place on 06/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Maximilian Asp (29(19) - 0) who hails from Gothenburg, Sweden and Aki Kankkunnen(18 - 11(4) - 1) from Oulu, Finland.  Both Asp and Kankkunnen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaapro Kuusi, and the three ringside judges are Aleksi Paatalo, Samu Petaja and Riku Pekkala.  

Round 1: 

Asp lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Asp is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Asp attempts to land a left hook, but Kankkunnen blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Asp lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kankkunnen almost instantly gets his legs back.

Kankkunnen advances into close range.  Asp tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Asp lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kankkunnen quickly recovers.

Asp advances into close range.  Kankkunnen throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Asp senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Kankkunnen and just needs the right shot.  Asp slams a spiteful right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  KANKKUNNEN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Kankkunnen now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Asp thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Kankkunnen away.  Asp digs in a weighty right hook to Kankkunnen's ribs.  KANKKUNNEN IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Kankkunnen has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
