Joe Methven vs Corey Mearns

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at Portland Monroy, Portland,  taking place on 05/12/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Methven (17 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Salem, USA and Corey Mearns(6 - 2 - 2) from Eugene, USA.  Both Methven and Mearns weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joe Rainey, and the three ringside judges are Brett Edmison, Gregor Riach and Chris Zegarra.
