Neper Corzo vs Nicandro Luiz

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona,  taking place on 03/12/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain-Catalonia Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Corzo (9(4) - 0) who hails from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain and Nicandro Luiz(13 - 1) from Terrassa, Spain.  Corzo weighed in at 108 pounds, while Luiz weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Mederos, and the three ringside judges are Jair Gutierez, Senon Paredes and Rodrigo Pacifico.  

Round 1: 

Corzo closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Corzo ties up his opponent.  Corzo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Luiz has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a minor cut in the corner of the right eye.  .

Corzo advances into close range and forces Luiz to back into the ropes.  Corzo pivots to the side of his opponent.  Corzo drives a left uppercut into Luiz's body.  Corzo clinches his opponent.  Corzo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Corzo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
