Matt Heaven vs Sam Morrice

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Rengotai Arena, Wellington,  taking place on 06/12/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt Heaven (13(8) - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Sam Morrice(23(1) - 13(8) - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Heaven weighed in at 234 pounds and 5 ounces, while Morrice weighed in at 219 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paul Redhead, and the three ringside judges are Barry Christeson, Mark Ruskin and Denton Rattray.  

Round 1: 

Morrice digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Heaven steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Heaven clinches his opponent.  Heaven is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Heaven's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Heaven tries to step out of his opponents range.  Heaven is looking to force the stoppage!  Heaven slams a FIERCE right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  MORRICE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Morrice now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Heaven lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Morrice pivots from in front of his opponent.  Morrice attempts to land a cross, but Heaven sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Heaven throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Morrice is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Morrice attempts to land a right hook, but Heaven parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Heaven is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Heaven lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Heaven lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Heaven is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a FEARSOME cross.  MORRICE IS HURT!  Morrice recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Heaven is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a cross to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Morrice almost instantly recovers.

Heaven is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Morrice is on target with a jab.  Morrice throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Heaven tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.  
Heaven throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Heaven is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Heaven feints a left hook, but Morrice does not fall for it and is on target with a right hook.

Heaven is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Heaven senses Morrice is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Heaven lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND MORRICE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Heaven!
