Manny Mota vs Jair Gama

Boxing Daily Report from the Nzeyi Promotions promoted show at Alfonso Barbo Gym, Belo Horizonte,  taking place on 12/12/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Minas Gerais Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manny Mota (11 - 6 - 3) who hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Jair Gama(7 - 6 - 2) from Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  Mota weighed in at 241 pounds and 6 ounces, while Gama weighed in at 247 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Padua, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Lama, Cisco Reis and Neron Socorro.  

Round 1: 

Mota closes the distance.  Mota retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Gama accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Mota.
