Uzondu Mabudafhasi vs Marcel Gillard

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 22/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Uzondu Mabudafhasi (32(24) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Marcel Gillard(26(10) - 5(2)) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.  Both Mabudafhasi and Gillard weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kyan Majola, and the three ringside judges are Quaashie Duncan, Quoitrel Sotyu and Jake Fwakulu.
