Colin Lindsay vs Ed McClamrock

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Edinburgh Bruce, Edinburgh,  taking place on 17/12/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colin Lindsay (1 - 1 - 5) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and Ed McClamrock(4(2) - 1) from Aberdeen, UK.  Lindsay weighed in at 135 pounds, while McClamrock weighed in at 134 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gordon Arnott, and the three ringside judges are Martin MacBeth, Hamish McBeth and Andrew Frew.  

Round 1: 

Lindsay lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head.  
Lindsay attempts to land a jab, but McClamrock sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
McClamrock lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McClamrock manouvers Lindsay into a corner.  McClamrock lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  McClamrock clinches his opponent.  McClamrock pushes his forearm into Lindsay's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McClamrock to stop fouling.  
McClamrock steps away from his opponent and lands with a hard jab.  
McClamrock gets on the inside and hits home with a firm left hook.  
McClamrock is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
McClamrock walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  McClamrock lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
McClamrock is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  McClamrock lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  It looks like Lindsay has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Lindsay switches the action to the outside.  McClamrock finds the target with a jab.  
McClamrock is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
McClamrock is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.  
McClamrock forces Lindsay to retreat onto the ropes.  McClamrock lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
McClamrock digs in a sharp right hook to Lindsay's body.  
McClamrock lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  McClamrock ties up his opponent.  McClamrock is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McClamrock closes the distance and forces Lindsay to back into the ropes.  McClamrock crashes a hurtful left hook to Lindsay's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE LINDSAY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Lindsay recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McClamrock is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS LINDSAY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  McClamrock holds on to his opponent.  McClamrock is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks McClamrock's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Lindsay recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
McClamrock sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to Lindsay's body.  
Lindsay steps away from his opponent.  McClamrock throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McClamrock closes the distance and walks Lindsay down, trapping him on the ropes.  McClamrock lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lindsay's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Lindsay's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Lindsay's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

McClamrock lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  McClamrock tries to land a cross, but Lindsay sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
McClamrock pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Lindsay almost instantly gets his legs back. 
McClamrock gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
McClamrock senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  McClamrock lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND LINDSAY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
McClamrock is looking to keep his distance.  McClamrock slams a big left hook into Lindsay's liver.  DOWN GOES LINDSAY!  He manages to get up at 6.  
McClamrock lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS LINDSAY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is McClamrock!
