Joseph McCay vs Robert Thomas

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Dundee MacFadyen, Dundee,  taking place on 17/12/2032:

Clearly Mthethwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joseph McCay (11 - 19(1) - 1) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Robert Thomas(10 - 21(3) - 4) from Glasgow, UK.  McCay weighed in at 200 pounds, while Thomas weighed in at 199 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter MacLaughlin, and the three ringside judges are Tom Crowe, Iain MacCracken and David McClarnon.  

Round 1: 

McCay lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
McCay tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut to McCay's body.

McCay gets on the inside.  Thomas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent andThomas wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as McCay dabs at his face checking for damage.  McCay has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
McCay connects with a right hook.  
Thomas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McCay feints a cross, tricking Thomas into launching a right uppercut counter.  McCay is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McCay is on target with a left hook.  
Thomas tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.  
McCay pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Thomas tries to land a left hook, but McCay blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.
