Mick Purvis vs Greg Cadenhead

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guyana-North promoted show at Guyana Marriott Hotel, Georgetown,  taking place on 21/12/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guyana Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mick the Beast Purvis (10(8) - 0) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Greg Cadenhead(15 - 7 - 1) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Purvis and Cadenhead weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Creighton, and the three ringside judges are Lee Montgomery, Patrick Goldring and Greg Rhoderick.  

Round 1: 

Purvis contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Cadenhead lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Purvis tries to keep the action at long range.  Cadenhead sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Purvis connects with a stinging cross.  
Cadenhead tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  CADENHEAD IS HURT!  Cadenhead recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Purvis steps to the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS CADENHEAD!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Cadenhead recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Cadenhead has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Purvis is on target with a stinging cross.  
Purvis tries to keep the action at long range.  Cadenhead hits home with an overhand right.

Purvis tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CADENHEAD TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Cadenhead now seems to have got his legs back.

Cadenhead is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Purvis!
