Ethan Ashdown vs John Blyth

Boxing Daily Report from the Kapenta Promotions promoted show at Sam Stealey Gym, Savannah,  taking place on 20/12/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Georgia Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ethan Ashdown (21 - 7 - 1) who hails from Atlanta, USA and John Blyth(21(1) - 4 - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  Ashdown weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Blyth weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Wilk, and the three ringside judges are Leo Crowder, Chris Lou and Rob Steen.  

Round 1: 

Ashdown switches the action to the outside.  Ashdown quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Blyth hits home with a firm cross.  
Blyth lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Blyth connects with a left hook.  
Blyth gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Blyth lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Blyth forces Ashdown to back into the corner.  Blyth is on target with a right uppercut.  
Blyth is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Blyth lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a cross to the head.  
Ashdown is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ashdown's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ashdown's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Ashdown is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a cross, but Blyth blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Blyth is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Blyth lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Blyth gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Blyth sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Blyth digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Blyth lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Blyth pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Blyth lands a stinging jab.  
Blyth gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Ashdown switches the action to the outside.  Blyth lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Blyth steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Blyth drives a right hook into Ashdown's ribcage.  
Blyth lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Blyth steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Blyth lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Blyth knows Ashdown is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Blyth lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body, DROPPING ASHDOWN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Blyth forces Ashdown to back into the ropes.  Blyth lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.

Blyth digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Blyth lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Blyth steps to the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
Blyth switches the action to the outside.  Ashdown is on target with a jab.  
Blyth connects with a cross.  
Blyth closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ashdown tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Blyth is looking to close the distance and manages to force Ashdown into the blue corner.  Blyth lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Blyth lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Blyth lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.

Blyth advances into close range.  Blyth pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ashdown throws a left hook, but Blyth holds on to his opponent.  Blyth pushes his forearm into Ashdown's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Blyth walks Ashdown down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Blyth lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  Blyth ties up his opponent.  Blyth leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ashdown tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Blyth gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Blyth lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Blyth steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Blyth pivots to the side of his opponent.  Blyth throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Blyth gets on the inside and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE ASHDOWN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Blyth senses Ashdown is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Blyth lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING ASHDOWN DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Blyth!
