Alejandro Gago vs Ponce Villafane

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Chile-Santiago promoted show at Gimnasio Club Mexico, Santiago,  taking place on 13/06/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Chile Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UCV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Gago (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Santiago, Chile and Ponce Villafane(3 - 3 - 2) from Puente Alto, Chile.  Gago weighed in at 237 pounds and 4 ounces, while Villafane weighed in at 232 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Burgos, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Cristobal, Angel Vea and Joaquin Estopinal.
