Charlie Skondras vs Emilio Messa

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 26/12/2032:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia-New South Wales Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charlie Skondras (6 - 7(1) - 3) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Emilio Messa(17(3) - 3(2)) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Skondras and Messa weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin McKay, and the three ringside judges are Richard Bean, John Mellish and Ian Musgrave.  

Round 1: 

Messa feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.

Skondras throws a left uppercut, but Messa clinches his opponent.  Messa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Messa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Skondras behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Skondras tries to step out of his opponents range.  Messa lands a jab.  
Skondras sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Messa lands with a hard jab.  Messa tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Messa's body.
