George Bates vs John Riddle

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 27/12/2032:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Bates (16 - 11(1) - 5) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and John Riddle(16 - 14(4) - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Bates and Riddle weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ellis Raharuhi, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Martie, Mark Vaux and Kieran Beynon.
