Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santiago Chirinos Gym, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 13/06/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alfonso Montalvan (7 - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic and Dario Merced(7 - 0) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Montalvan weighed in at 104 pounds And 11 ounces, while Merced weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Bacallao, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Lena, Reynaldo Arias and Reynaldo Arellanes.
