Angel Mellado vs Gervasio Calero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Jax Lusco Gym, Tlalnepantla,  taking place on 08/06/2021:

Clearly AI Mexico-Mexico State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Mellado (8 - 0) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Gervasio Calero(7 - 0) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Mellado weighed in at 107 pounds and 4 ounces, while Calero weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dario Montes, and the three ringside judges are Juan Blasco, Carlos Licona and Carlos Licona.
