Joaquin Osegueda vs Venacio Vargas

Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Nemesio Villarroel Gym, Havana,  taking place on 24/06/2021:

Clearly Chilembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Osegueda (4 - 4 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Venacio Vargas(5 - 0 - 4) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Osegueda and Vargas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Villavicencio, and the three ringside judges are Desiderio Estacio, Jose Tadeo and Berto Marcelino.  

Round 1: 

Osegueda backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Vargas accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Osegueda.
