Juan Valerio vs Juan Gamon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uruguay-Montevideo promoted show at Nicandro Bea Gym, Montevideo,  taking place on 10/06/2021:

Clearly AI Uruguay-Montevideo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Valerio (7 - 0 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Juan Gamon(1 - 0 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Valerio and Gamon weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emanuel Castano, and the three ringside judges are Jair Vilchis, Iago Ramon and Pablo Mesquita.  

Round 1: 

Valerio connects with an overhand left.  
Valerio feints a cross, but Gamon ignores the feint and is on target with a cross.  
Gamon gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Valerio has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Valerio steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.
