Yakubu Okoye vs Khalid Ben

Boxing Daily Report from the Adumensa Promotions promoted show at Gareth Babayaro Gym, Maiduguri,  taking place on 31/12/2032:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Borno State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yakubu Okoye (8 - 24(1) - 2) who hails from Maiduguri, Nigeria and Khalid Ben(13 - 7 - 2) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Okoye weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces, while Ben weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Shariff, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Ekoku, Syed Hariri and Shehu Akande.

Ben steps to the outside and lands a cross.  
Ben connects with a right hook.  
Okoye pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ben lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  As Okoye tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ben dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Okoye quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ben digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.
