Yong-jae Chon vs Min-woo Tan

Boxing Daily Report from the Kabeta Promotions promoted show at Bo-kyung Sur Gym, Daejeon,  taking place on 03/01/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daejeon Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yong-jae Chon (15 - 10(2) - 1) who hails from Daejeon, South Korea and Min-woo Tan(17 - 6 - 3) from Daejeon, South Korea.  Both Chon and Tan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ki-hun You, and the three ringside judges are Jeong-hyeop Kwock, Jin-su Choung and Jae-sung Pong.  

Round 1: 

Tan closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Chon finds the target with a jab.  
Chon lands a jab.  
Chon is looking to close the distance.  Tan lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tan dabs at his face checking for damage.

Chon advances into close range.  Tan is on target with a right hook.

Chon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Chon throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tan lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Chon drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Chon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Tan steps to the outside.  Chon is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chon's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.  Tan's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
