Karan Gaud vs Ben Apted

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Tower Theatre, Fresno,  taking place on 03/01/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Karan Gaud (32(24) - 2) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Ben Apted(22 - 5(1) - 4) from San Francisco, USA.  Both Gaud and Apted weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Thomason, and the three ringside judges are Waleed Naqvi, Dillon Downey and Zuffur Mahmoud.  

Round 1: 

Gaud advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Gaud pushes his forearm into Apted's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gaud to stop fouling.

Gaud knows Apted is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Gaud lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS APTED!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Gaud!
