Joaquin Topete vs Tajo Marta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santiago Chirinos Gym, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 05/07/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Topete (8 - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Tajo Marta(5 - 0) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Topete weighed in at 140 pounds, while Marta weighed in at 139 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Ribas, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Lena, Ramirez Banegas and Carlos Menendez.
