Robert Glendenning vs Mark Thom

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bahamas-New Providence promoted show at Nassau Gaiter, Nassau,  taking place on 16/01/2033:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Bahamas-New Providence Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNS, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Glendenning (6 - 12(4)) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Mark Thom(8 - 0) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Glendenning and Thom weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Annan, and the three ringside judges are Danny Couser, Paul Colville and Dominic Cockburn.  

Round 1: 

Thom closes the distance.  Glendenning hits home with a right uppercut.  
Glendenning steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Thom.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.  
Thom steps inside.  Glendenning sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Glendenning lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.
