Xalvador Lombardo vs Bohdan Stepanski

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Estadio Oscar Ramos Cabieses, Lima,  taking place on 12/02/2033:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xalvador Lombardo (8(7) - 0) who hails from Burgos, Spain and Bohdan Stepanski(14 - 13(3) - 2) from Dniprodzerzhynsk, Ukraine.  Both Lombardo and Stepanski weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Rueda, and the three ringside judges are Diego Bras, Enzo Pinero and Pedro Capellan.  

Round 1: 

Lombardo lands a solid cross.

Stepanski closes the distance.  Lombardo lands two left uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Lombardo clinches his opponent.  Lombardo hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Lombardo thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Stepanski away.  Lombardo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STEPANSKI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Stepanski has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Stepanski closes the distance.  Lombardo lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Lombardo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lombardo pushes his forearm into Stepanski's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Stepanski walks Lombardo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Stepanski quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lombardo lands a sharp left uppercut.

Stepanski closes the distance.  Lombardo lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Lombardo ties up his opponent.  Stepanski leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Lombardo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lombardo dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Lombardo.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Lombardo is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Stepanski recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
