Ricardo Velez vs Juan Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the Bani Promotions promoted show at Xabat Gonzalez Gym, Soledad,  taking place on 19/01/2033:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Velez (23 - 11 - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Juan Diaz(7 - 4) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Velez weighed in at 235 pounds and 10 ounces, while Diaz weighed in at 227 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Casillas, and the three ringside judges are Gervasio Montejano, Alfonso Rayos and Alejandro Aurelio.  

Round 1: 

Velez is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Diaz gets on the inside and manouvers Velez onto the ropes.  Velez hits home with a left hook.
